Monday Year 12 Extended break

Wednesday Year 12 Final Year Assembly - Oakley Room

Thursday   Year 12 Tutorial

Friday  Final Day Arrangements

  8.40: Registration.

  8.50: Period 1

  9.45: Break

  10.05: Students to tutors and then:call down to Cock House and Final Assembly.

  Y13 and Y12: occupy the centre ground floor seats and the front adjoining row as needed.

  11.30: Tutorial Sessions for ALL students/staff (check lockers are left empty and open - anything left will be

  thrown away: HoYs to supervise)

  12.00 midday: Dismissal

Year 12 Interview Day has been postponed from this Thursday to September. More details will follow at the start of next term.

DON'T FORGET TO CLEAR YOUR LOCKERS BEFORE THE END OF TERM. THEY WILL ALL BE EMPTIED DURING THE HOLIDAYS AND ALL CONTENTS WILL BE BINNED!

Applications for Parking Permits for next term are on the rack outside the Sixth Form Office. Please collect, complete and return to Ann asap!

IMPORTANT NOTICE: THE 2010 UKCAT UNIVERSITY ADMISSIONS TEST

Registration opens: 4 May 2010

Students wishing to apply to study Medicine or Dentistry for entry in 2011 (or deferred entry in 2012) should note the requirements to take the UK Clinical Aptitude Test (UKCAT) this summer.

 The 26 University Medical and Dental schools that require candidates to take this test as part of the admissions process:

University of Aberdeen; Brighton and Sussex Medical School; Barts and The London School of Medicine; Cardiff University; University of Dundee; University of Durham; University of East Anglia; University of Edinburgh; University of Glasgow; Hull York Medical School; Keele University; King’s College London; Imperial College London Graduate Entry; University of Leeds; University of Leicester; University of Manchester; University of Newcastle; University of Nottingham; University of Oxford Graduate Entry; Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry; Queen’s University Belfast; University of Sheffield; University of Southampton; University of St Andrews; St George’s, University of London; Warwick University Graduate Entry.

The test is offered at a choice of 150 UK high street test centres an over 300 testing centres worldwide. The closing date for registering to take this test is 27 September 2010. However, due to high demand, students should register to take this test immediately to ensure they get a test slot at their chosen test centre.

Bursary and voucher application deadline:27 September 2010

UKCAT registration deadline:27 September 2010

UKCAT testing deadline:8 October 2010

UCAS application deadline:15 October 2010

London Taster Course Programme 2010 - A taste of university life 

Year 12 students are now able to view and apply online to the various university taster courses taking place at over 20 universities in and around London in 2010 at www.london.ac.uk/tasters. All our taster courses are free of charge for students to attend.
